We are pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Joseph (Josh) V. Carmichael, as our Bi-Vocational Pastor. Dr. Carmichael comes to Auburn, AL from North Point, AL. He and his wife, Betsy, have six sons. Dr. Carmichael is an ordained Baptist Minister with 20 years of experience and a board certified chaplain, working as a clinical chaplain in hospital and hospice settings. He has service in pastoral ministry in Alabama, Mississippi, South Carolina and Kentucky.
Dr. Carmichael is a respected biblically and theologically driven minister with an expository preaching approach. He has a people-centered approach to leading and a contagious approach to congregational culture and strategy.
