WMU meets on the first Wednesday night of each month at 6:00 pm. This ministry allows us to support local, national and foreign missions. We invite all ladies to come join us for a brief bible study and discussions on how we can help spread the word of Jesus through missions! We have to major annual events. One is a church wide yard sale and all proceeds earned, the WMU ladies designate to a specific ministry in need. Second is our First Responders Appreciation Luncheon. This ministry is so dear to our hearts. Our First Responders do so much for our community and risk their lives day in and day out. They sacrifice so much outside from themselves such as their time and their family. Other than praying for them, this is just a small way that we can show how much we appreciate them all and what they do for us!
Here's a word from our WMU director, Melinda Wood. In the new 2022-2023 church year, I felt a call to lead our Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU) mission group as the WMU Director. As I draw closer to God, the more I become aware that there is much work to do for Him. The greatest work is the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). WMU fulfills a role in this great work, and I am thankful to be called to be part of God’s plan in this role. With much prayer and hearts that yearn to follow God’s plan, WMU helps local, state, national, and international organizations through offerings and service. We meet on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00 p.m. and would love for you to join us!
